Forms In Dialogue

At Villa Planchart, silk meets geometry. Light moves across surfaces, revealing the connection between fabric, color, and space. In this setting, the collection unfolds like a study in proportion and texture, where architecture and material reflect one another.

Forms in Dialogue unfolds within Villa Planchart in Caracas, a modernist landmark designed by Gio Ponti as an ode to proportion, color, and craft. Suspended between art and architecture, the house becomes a setting where silk takes shape, where every surface catches the light in its own way.

Photographed by Conrado Véliz, the series captures silk pieces moving through Ponti’s compositions as if part of them. Draped across chairs, framed by tiles, reflected in glass, each piece traces a conversation between texture and structure.

The images reveal a meeting of disciplines: fashion and architecture, softness and precision, the organic and the designed. In this space, silk becomes architecture, and architecture turns fluid.
